London-based DJ and Producer Even Funkier searches high and low for the funkiest music he can find, weaving together Disco, Funk, House, Soul, Boogie, Jazz, Hip Hop and Global delights to create something fresh, irresistibly funky and downright groovy. He plays tunes from across the decades, genres and BPMs, mixing up hidden gems with tried and tested favourites, with a focus on sweet, sweet Disco music brought right up to date for modern dancefloors.
As well as presenting a long-running fortnightly radio show and hosting a weekly livestream (and the occasional 33 hour charity DJ set), he’s also made waves on the production side in 2021, with releases on a rapidly growing selection of cool labels including Hot Digits, Spa In Disco, Mango Sounds and Tropical Disco. He’s a versatile DJ, just as at home playing a vintage funk session, spinning spacey nu disco or banging out a house set… or maybe all of the above and more in one of his trademark rollercoaster genre-fluid sets.
