Sean started his DJ journey almost 30 years ago from his hometown of Birmingham. After plying his trade in many bars, his first big break came with a weekly residency at Bakers Nightclub, one of the hubs of House music in the city, where he entertained the crowds with his love of US & UK produced house music. In 1993, he chose to take his musical style over to the bars and clubs of Greece & the Canary Islands and played in a variety of settings for the next 4 years.
Following a long hiatus from behind the decks and decanting to the North West, Sean re-entered the fray with his new found love for the emerging Disco / Nu Disco scene. His low key re-emergence quickly developed into much bigger things and the festival scene came calling, with appearances at Beat Herder, U Know Festival, the epic Creamfields and more recently, The Amsterdam Dance Event (ADE).
At the turn of 2020, Sean ventured into the world of radio. His inaugural show, ‘Some Kinda Disco’ on Influx Radio gained a lot of traction and attracted some of the biggest names in the Disco scene providing guest mixes for his show with the likes of Ladies on Mars, Chewy Rubs, Mark Brickman and many more getting involved. A year later, the draw of NDC Radio (Worldwide) was too much to turn down and Sundessential Disco, a weekly Sunday show, was born. Sean is also co-host of The Spin, every Friday, on his hometown’s very own Radio Warrington. More recently, Sean has re-ignited the ‘Some Kinda Disco’ brand into a successful monthly residency, again in his Warrington hometown.
Having recently been anointed into The Disco Waltons family, a talented group of DJ’s, producers and disco enthusiasts, Sean continues to push the envelope with his very own style of uplifting Disco House. Check out his Soundcloud page where you’ll find a host of mixes and guest mixes.
